    AnnotationFour novel peptides of the mastoparan family were identified in the venom of three neotropical social wasps collected in the Dominican Republic. As these peptides posses strong antimicrobial activity, series of their analogs were synthesized to correlate antimicrobial activity with their structure and physical properties.
