AnnotationBinding properties of protein fractions obtained by gel chromatography of boar seminal plasma under physiological conditions, and their HPLC-separated components were studied. Epididymal and ejaculated sprmatozoa, phosphorylcholine, acid polysaccharides, cholesterol and glycoproteins of zona pellucida were used as ligands for binding studies. Proteins, present in seminal plasma mainly as aggregated forms, were able to bind to these substances. This suggests their role during fertilization.
