AnnotationAccelerated testing of efficiency and longevity of modern stabilizer packages is expected to provide reliable data reducing the development cycle in designing future polymer articles within a commercially acceptable time. Limits in acceleration of thermal aging and weathering, effects of chemical and physical relations between the polymer matrix and stabilizers, and potentials of stabilizer depth profiling are analyzed to minimize misleading data and provide a better estimation of the service lifetime.
