Description in English Basic phenomena of seismic vibrations and the focal areas of natural earthquakes are described with reference to sources of technical and induced seismicity in the region of the Czech Republic. The main objective of the work was to record and interpret the seismic effect of quarry blasts. Two regions were used for presentation of seismic data processing and interpretation from civil engineering view point.
