AnnotationDirect procedure of preparation of dilakali hexatriynides at -78°C gives monomer product, whereas stepwise one results in poly(dialkali hexatriynides). Poly(dilithium hexatriynide) gives after the solvolysis polymer free of lithium, having stoichiometric composition; product of methanolysis contains the multiwave carbon nanotubes. Poly(dipotassium hexatriynide) provides after the solvolysis mainly soluble carbonaceous polymers, containing still about 22 of potassium in partly crosslinked structure with retained alkyne sequences.
