AnnotationMonitoring of cyanobacterial blooms showed, that significant health risks of both direct dermal contact as well as exposure to microcystins exist in recreation in Brno. During the summer season 2001, safety limits for dermal contact were exceeded at 93% of analysed localities. Our results iniciate that both monitoring and regelatory actions ase necessary.
