AnnotationThe microcystin content in buoyant scums and water blooms was widely studied in recreational reservoirs, drinking-water reservoirs, as well as fish ponds in the Czech Republic from 1993 to 1998. Among the more than 60 different variants currently known, microcystin-LR appears to be the most ofen reported [Codd 1995], possibly becouse it has been most widely studied.
