    AnnotationThe aim of the study was to investigate effects of irradiation conditions on rheological and mechanical properties of UHMWPE and to evaluate an increase in elasticity of the melts in situ during the post-radiation heat treatment. Melt rheology showed to be a sensitive method for the evaluation of simultaneous crosslinking and chain scission in the irradiated UHMWPE.
