Annotation	Studie hledá souvislosti mezi inovacemi historických reprezentací v české literatuře kolem roku 1900 a aktivitami T. G. Masaryka. Z tohoto hlediska analyzuje tzv. literární generaci devadesátých let jako autoidentifikační imagined community, při jejímž formování sehrála jednu z klíčových rolí Masarykova účast na sporu o RKZ (1886) a jeho kritika tzv. historismu (90. léta).
Description in English	The study outlines connections between innovations of historical representations in the Czech literature around 1900 and the activities of T. G. Masaryk. From this point of view, it analyses the so-called "literary generation of the 1890s" as an self-identification imagined community, and the key role which Masaryk's participation in the controvery on Manuscript of Dvůr Králové (1886) played in its construing.
