That was the motivation for the conference, From Colliders to Cosmic Rays, held in Prague, 7 - 13 September 2005. It attracted a very balanced participation from both fields, of 68 physicists. Judging from the reactions of participants expressed during the general discussion at the end of the conference, the program and presented topics fulfilled or even surpassed their expectations. One can only look forward to future meetings when the results from LHC, H.E.S.S., IceCube, Pierre Auger Observatory and other new experiments will be available.
