    AnnotationLiquid-phase Diels-Alder cycloaddition between dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) and cyclopentadiene (CP) to give dimethyl bicyclo[2.2.1]-2,5-heptadiene-2,3-dicarboxylate has been monitored by infrared emission spectroscopy. The pure component emission spectrum was retrieved from the reaction system using band-target entropy minimization (BTEM).
