    AnnotationLabeled amino acid o-([18F]fluoroethyl)-L-tyrosine ([18F]FET) seems to be a promising compound for PET imaging of brain tumors. An efficient synthesis method of [18F]FET is described, however, it was necessary to modify the method for our automated synthesizer TracerLab MX. The modified method was developed and tested with radiochemical yield for the synthesis 53% + 6% (uncorrected for decay).
