    AnnotationDouble-stream gas puff target has been iluminated by sub-kJ, near-infrared focused laser pulses to produce high-energy pulses of soft X-rays from hot, dense plasma. The yields of single and double strand breaks induced in DNA plasmids by xenon-based source were determined.
