Rozum hraje pouze likvidační a destruktivní roli a nemůže poskytnout žádné epistemologické záruky pro přijímání teorií. V tomto konceptu nefundační racionality se ukazují zajímavé paralely mezi Popperem a postmodernismem, a to i přes jejich rozdílné názory na úlohu a na perspektivy rozumu v západním myšlení. Description in English This book analyzes Popper non-foundationist model of reason that unfolds from his critique of induction. His concept of negative reason limits its domain to the destruction and liquidation of all knowledge claims. Knowledge thus never transcends the domain of uncertainty. Popper’s non-foundationism offers some interesting comparison with postmodernism, despite their respective differences in the assessment of reason and rationality in Western thought.
