AnnotationEntirely metallic knives which differ from common finds for their scalpel-like look are generally supposed to be surgical knives used by medieval healers. Construction, a manner of manufacturing, overall quality and usability for surgical purposes together with an attempt of interpretation of three finds are discussed in the paper.
