    AnnotationThe transferability of fracture mechanics parameters estimated on small laboratory specimen to large engineering structures is analysed. Fracture toughness and R-curve were messured for PPH material on C type specimen. The relevant numerical model based on finite element method has been suggested. It is concluded the the results of the citical values of fracture mechanics parameters obtained on C specimens can be used for estimation of service life of two layers pipes.
