    AnnotationWhen monitoring the life cycle of Calothrix elenkinii Kossinsk, we found that low nitrogen concentration and growth under green light led to a transient appearance of high-fluorescence cells that rapidly bleach and disintegrate, thus breaking the parental filament into shorter parts.
