Description in English The exhibition represented interwar Czechoslovakia as democratic country opened to several waves of political emigration from neighbouring countries during not long twenty years of its free existence. Exhibits and accompanying texts in the catalogue were targeted not only as a whole already well alight groups of emigration, mostly focused at the well-known personalities from the former Russian empire (Russians, Ukrainians, and of course also other nations and ethnics) or from Nazi Germany and later from Austria either, but also at refugees from Hungary after 1919 and besides notorious personages at these usually fading from the point of view of historiography.
