Byly srovnávány fáze cirkadiánních rytmů jednodenních mláďat kontrolní skupiny a skupiny, které byl aplikován 6h posun světelných podmínek v prenatálním období. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že cirkadiánní rytmy mláďat jsou přímo řízeny mateřským cirkadiánním systémem
