SEDI is an international scientific organization dedicated to the Study of the Earth's Deep Interior. The ultimate goal of SEDI is an enhanced understanding of the past evolution and current thermal, dynamical and chemical state of the Earth's deep interior and of the effect that the interior has on the structures and processes observed at the surface of the Earth. Twenty three invited lectures and about 150 posters were presented at the jubilee 10th symposium.

SEDI je mezinárodní vědecká organizace podporující studium hlubokého nitra Země. Cílem SEDI je rozvíjet poznání o minulém vývoji i současném termálním, dynamickém a chemickém stavu zemského nitra a o dopadech, který mají tyto děje na struktury a procesy na zemském povrchu. Na desátém jubilejním sympoziu bylo předneseno 23 pozvaných přednášek a prezentováno okolo 150 posterů.
