The author responds to Smith's claim that Plato's argument reconstructed by Woolf that democracy is irrational fails. He argues that Smith does not in fact address the argument. However, he does show that Aristotle responds to Plato's argument.
Autor reaguje na Smithovu tezí, podle níž je Platonův argument proti democracií neplatný. Ukazuje, že Smith se vlastně timto argumentem nezabývá. Naproti tomu ukazuje, že na Platonův argument odpovidá Aristotles.
