Description in English The article presents the concept of the planned The Dictionary of the Belarusian Dialects in Latvia. The material basis will be the records collected by the author during the dialectological expedition in 2004-2018 (ca. 300 hours of interviews). The dictionary will cover geographically the whole area of functioning of modern Belarusian subdialects in Latvia (five regions: Zilupes, Dagdas, Krāslavas, Daugavpils and Ilūkstes districts).
