Na přelomu let 2008 a 2009 ve Vladislavském sálu na Pražském hradě proběhl záchranný archeologický výzkum. Získané archeologické nálezy pocházejí z několika oblastí každodenního života. Byly zde nalezeny mince a součásti oděvů. Fragmenty knih jsou vytištěny v šesti jazycích. Jsou zde ručně psané modlitby, amulety, fragmenty dopisů a ruční kresby. Oblast her a zábavy je zastoupena hracími kostkami a pozůstatky dýmek. Nejpočetnější složkou jsou ale papírové karty. Analýza makrozbytků poskytuje zajímavý pohled na dobový obchodní sortiment.

At the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, rescue archaeological excavation took place during the reconstruction of the floor in Vladislaus Hall at the Prague Castle. The objects found characterize several areas of everyday life. There were found coins and components of clothing. The found fragments of books are printed in six languages. There are handwritten prayers, amulets, fragments of letters and rudimentary drawings. The sphere of games and entertainment is represented by dice, fragments of pipes, but the most numerous are the paper playing cards. An analysis of the plant macro-remains provides an interesting view of the trading assortment.
