In smaller systems one needs higher supercooling to occur formation of nuclei. In that case depletion of Ni droplet due to phase transformation caused that the number of nuclei, F, as a function of time reaches some maximum value. Time dependence of F differs from classical nucleation model, when the stationary state is reached after some time delay.
