Description in English The book’s introductory chapter explores how synthetic media and artificial intelligence transform our understanding of truth, knowledge, and human experience. It traces a shift from photography’s realism to the data-driven logic of AI and argues that synthetic data and generative systems mark a new stage of mediation—one where simulation replaces representation and automation extends social hierarchies. Synthetic media thus signal an epistemic and cultural turning point, redefining what counts as reality, creativity, and intelligence in the contemporary world.
