Two experts from industry (ThinkR) and academic applied research (CATMA annotation software) presented their recommendations and experiences with the development of open-source software tools. Czech participants presented the goals of the project “Computer assisted enhancement of the reproducibility of qualitative data analysis in the social sciences” and demonstrated the current version of the software reQual, which is under development and aims to support reproducibility in qualitative research. The workshop contributed to capacity building of the project team and to specific improvements of the software tool.
