Description in English The central objective of this article is to investigate the conceptual relationships between Descartes’ Geometrie and Hilbert’s Grundlagen der Geometrie. Despite the distinctions between historical contexts, styles and contents, there is a common thread that connects these two landmarks of modern geometry.
