Description in English The contribution is aimed for non-destructive testing of a new type of composite material - wood-filled plastic (WPC) in technological operation turning and extrusion process itself (before machining). From a theoretical point of view, the quality of machined surface after turning directly dependent on the combination of the flow rate and the radius of curvature of the tool tip. For machining of composite wood-based materials is not possible to apply the previous argument, since the surface is also conditional upon itself copatibility material. To detect surface defects the visual inspection and test capillary was used. Workplace Institute of Geonics Contact Lucie Gurková, lucie.gurkova@ugn.cas.cz, Tel.: 596 979 354 Year of Publishing 2016
