Příspěvek je zaměřen na objednávku výmalby kostela sv. Hypolita na Hradišti u Znojma provedenou Franzem Anton Maulbertschem roku 1766. Pozornost je věnována také ikonografii malby a okolnostem jejího vzniku.

The paper focuses on the commission of the ceiling painting in the church of the St. Hippolytus on Hradiště near Znojmo made by Franz Anton Maulbertsch in 1766. Attention is also paid to the iconography of the painting and the circumstances its creation.
