Nález torza industriálnej farbiarne textilu v roku 2018 označuje počiatok systematickej industriálnej archeológie v Brne. V danej dobe neidentifikovateľný nález industriálneho reliktu upriamil pozornosť na novú oblasť záujmu. Vďaka exkavácii ďalších farbiarskych prevádzok (Vlněna a Dornych v Brne, Úštěk v Ústeckom kraji) bola krivka učenia a bádania v tejto oblasti veľmi strmá, čo viedlo k relatívne rýchlemu pochopeniu a dnes už komplexnému spracovaniu brnenských farbiarskych prevádzok. Príspevok popíše výzvy, ktoré na začiatku skúmania vystali, predstaví prínos interdisciplinárneho bádania a na príklade vykurovacích zariadení ukáže progres v rámci štyroch rokov výskumu. Následne budú predstavené aktuálne výstupy výskumu (vrátane 3D rekonštrukcie exkavovaných farbiarní). Na záver bude stručne adresovaná otázka predikcie ďalších nálezov a preventívnej ochrany archeologických nálezov industriálnej povahy.

The discovery of the torso of an industrial textile dyeing workshop in 2018 marks the beginning of systematic industrial archaeology in Brno. The discovery of an unidentifiable industrial relic at the time drew attention to a new area of interest. Thanks to the excavation of other dyeing workshops (Vlněna and Dornych in Brno, Úštěk in the Ústecký kraj), the learning and research curve in this area was very steep, which led to a relatively quick understanding and now complex treatment of the Brno dyeing workshops. The paper will describe the challenges that arose at the beginning of the research, present the benefits of interdisciplinary research and, using the example of heating devices, show the progress within four years of research. Subsequently, current research outputs will be presented (including a 3D reconstruction of the excavated dyeing workshop). At the end, the question of predicting further finds and preventive protection of archaeological finds of an industrial nature will be briefly addressed.
