El presente artículo analiza seis publicaciones recientes que abordan la historia del siglo XX en Europa central y del este. El objetivo del texto es comentar críticamente los principales temas de la investigación reciente sobre la región, conectando estos libros con otras publicaciones y debates que han marcado las líneas de fuga de la historiografía de las dos últimas décadas.

This paper analyses six recent publications addressing the history of the 20th Century in East-Central Europe. The aim is to critically comment on the main research topics of the region. The paper connects these books with other publications and debates that have shaped the main trends in East-Central European historiography in the last two decades.
