Článek prezentuje online specializovanou mapu a webové stránky Archeologie hradčanských paláců. Představeny jsou čtyři mapové aplikace. Každá z nich obsahuje jiný typ informací, k vyhodnocení situace archeologických nálezů se používá jiný pohled. Archeologie nabízí informatikům velmi zajímavá témata pro zpracování, hledání souvislostí a nových cest, práci s poznatky z opačného spektra vzdělání. Geoinformatici naopak mohou archeologům nabídnout nejen klasické plány historických lokalit, ale i nové přístupy pro práci se vstupními daty, seznámení s moderními technologiemi či nový pohled na zobrazení „starých dat“.

The article presents the online specialised map and website Archaeology of Hradčany Palaces. The four map applications are presented. Each of them contains a different type of information, a different perspective is used to evaluate the archaeological find situation. Archaeology offers interesting topics for geoinformaticians to process, to look for connections and new paths, to work with knowledge from the opposite spectrum of education. Geoinformaticians, on the other hand, can offer archaeologists not only classical plans of historical sites, but also new approaches for working with input data, familiarization with modern technologies or a new perspective on displaying “old data”.
