Pojem 'krize bydlení'' v posledních letech rezonuje českou veřejnou debatou. Přitom pojem 'krize bydlení' odkazuje, spoluvytváří a formuje realitu, která je komplexní a mnohovrstevnatá. V návaznosti na to tento editorial představuje jak mnohovrstevnatou konceptualizaci krize bydlení, tak představuje a uvádí celé monotématické číslo Sociologického časopisu nazvané 'Za krizí bydlení: koncepty, kontexty, konverzace a kritika'.

The term 'housing crisis' has resonated in the Czech public debate in recent years. At the same time, the term 'housing crisis' refers to, co-creates and shapes a reality that is complex and multi-layered. Following on from this, this editorial presents both a multi-layered conceptualization of the housing crisis and presents and introduces an entire special issue of the Czech Sociological Review entitled 'Beyond the Housing Crisis: Concepts, Contexts, Conversations and Critiques'.
