    AnnotationThe presentation will summarize the results of semi-pilot or pilot scale testing of individual steps indicated in Figure 1 in the Termizo waste to-energy plant, i.e. from: mercury removal from quench, optimized acid extraction process, gypsum precipitation, heavy metals cementation and salt recovery via crystallization. This approach will be also discussed with regard to its application in a waste-to-energy plant equipped with a calcium-based wet scrubbing system.
