The newly synthetized fluorescent tags based on pyrene, coumarin and/or BODIPY derivatives with various substituents and modifiable linkers affording tuning of fluorescent and MS properties (preferred wavelength and quantum yield, charge) and specific labeling mechanisms (reductive amination, hydrazine formation, etc.) will be presented in detail and applied for oligosaccharide and glycan analysis by CE/LIF and CE-MS.
