Kapitola pojednává o vnímání starých stromů českou veřejností. Estetickou hodnotu starých památných stromů naše veřejnost ve většině případů oceňuje a o jejich výskytu je informována, nejpřijatelnější strategií péče o suché stromy pro ni je jejich odstranění a výsadba nových.
The chapter discusses the perception of old trees by the Czech public. In most cases, our public appreciates the aesthetic value of old memorial trees and is informed about their existence, the most acceptable strategy for caring for dry trees is to remove them and plant new ones.
