    AnnotationThe results obtained by the proposed treatment show the suitability of gravimetric and magnetic concentrators in the recovery of dense heavy non-ferrous metals from the fine fraction of IBA.Proposed treatment is the first attempt for the over-concentration of valuable metals. However, based on the obtained results a comprehensive treatment of the whole IBA fine fraction is expected to be achieved by the use of new concentration devices, the application of grinding liberation processes, or the reprocessing of some of the products obtained.
