These polyimides were used as the polymeric matrix in the preparation of mixed matrix membranes (MMMs). The size sieving zeolitic imidazolate framework ZIF-8 (particle size of <160 nm) was used as filler. The ZIF-8 loadings were in the range of 5 to 20 wt.%.
