Herein, we propose a new way of determining all three transport parameters from a single permeation experiment performed using a modified classical permeation cell with very small volumes above and below the membrane. The principle of the new concept lies in the evaluation of the gas sorption in the membrane based on the balance of gas mass fluxes entering and leaving the membrane. This arrangement allows rapid complex characterization of the polymeric material for gas transport and separation.
