Description in English The way out of the stagnation of the nuclear power industry is the development of new small passively safe modular reactors reducing commercial and technological risks, and the intensification of the development of new reactors based on nuclear fusion. Small and micro modular reactors represent an important step in the development of nuclear sources of energy. However, public opinion can significantly limit their use. In the long term, the starting point for the stagnation of the nuclear power industry is the integration of fusion power plants. At the current level of funding, fusion power plants will become an important part of energy by the end of this century.
