The article shows how different the cultural and social parameters of archaic societies are. We characterize them as pre-state, acephalous with a non-industrial economy. Using the example of Asmat art (the southwest coast of the island of New Guinea), we show that art objects cannot be considered as an expression of an artist mind, but are completely connected with spirituality and cosmology. This includes behavioral consequences, which can then be triggered.
