Studie je věnována sběratelské činnosti Karla Kühnla, jehož sbírka především staré středoevropské kresby je zachována ve Stefanykově národní knihovně ve Lvově (Ukrajina) a ve vratislavském Ossolineu (Polsko).
The study is focused on the history of the collection of drawings established by Karl Kühnl and now held in institutions in Lviv (Ukraine) and Wrocław (Poland). The main part of the collection are drawings made by central European artists between the years 1600–1800, such as Franz Anton Maulbertsch, Josef Stern, Josef Winterhalder Jr., etc.
