Annotation	Podíl žen ve vědecké profesi v Čechách patří mezi nejnižší v Evropské unii. Nižší zastoupení žen ve výzkumu je jedním z mnoha projevů toho, že věda je historicky přizpůsobená mužským životním cestám. V důsledku toho vědecká kariéra mužů často vypadá jako sprint na 100 metrů, zatímco pro ženy jde spíš o překážkový běh, v němž se cílová rovinka neustále vzdaluje. Tuto metaforu potvrzuje dění posledních měsíců, kdy důsledky pandemie koronaviru hůře zasáhly právě ženy, a to kvůli jejich pečovatelským povinnostem a domácí výuce. Přijďte diskutovat s předsedkyní Grantové agentury ČR doktorkou Alicí Valkárovou o překážkách, které nastalá situace vědeckým pracovnicím přinesla, o opatřeních, jež Grantová agentura ČR zavedla, či zavést měla, a o tom, zda v Evropě existuje mezi grantovými agenturami spolupráce na poli rovnosti a diverzity.
Description in English	The share of women in the scientific profession in the Czech Republic is among the lowest in the European Union. The lower representation of women in research is one of many manifestations of the fact that science is historically adapted to men's life paths. As a result, men's scientific careers often look like a 100-meter sprint, while for women it is more of a hurdle race in which the finish line is constantly moving away. This metaphor is confirmed by the events of recent months, as the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic hit women harder due to their caring responsibilities and home teaching. Come and discuss with the Chair of the Czech Science Foundation, Dr. Alice Valkárová, the obstacles that the current situation has brought to researchers, the measures that the CSF has introduced or should have implemented, and whether there is cooperation between research funding organisations in Europe in the field of equality and diversity.
