AnnotationDue to environmental, operational and economic impacts of acid gases such as CO2, H2S, NOx and SOx, development of new separation technologies with enhanced efficiency and low capital cost is an emerging demand in the near future. Adsorption-based techniques are promising due to their inherent simplicity, low operational requirements, ease of control, and high efficiency. For these reasons they can be considered as a serious alternative to amine-based CO2 absorption.
