Description in English Nuclear power is the most efficient and powerful known energy source. This is a low-emission source that can efficiently reduce emissions in electricity generation, helping in the fight against global warming and climate change. Through physical and technological research, nuclear reactors are being refined to improve safety, increase fuel utilization and reduce waste. Developed nuclear fusion power plants will be inherently safe and their fuel supplies will be virtually inexhaustible. The Czech Republic is one of the countries at the forefront of world research into the energy use of nuclear fusion.
