Hranice mezi ideálem kulturní krajiny (s architekturou) a její někdejší reálnou podobou byla nezřetelná – v knize věnované „obrazům šlechtických panství“ (obrazy i veduty rukopisné i tištěné, staré mapy, obrazové mapy) jsou pojednávány otázky souvislostí vzniku těchto reprezentací šlechtických panství, co a jak zachycovaly, jakou mohly mít podobu a komu byly určeny, kdo byli jejich objednavatelé a tvůrci a jaká byla jejich úloha ve šlechtické sebeprezentaci.

The border between the ideal of the cultural landscape (with architecture) and its former real form was unclear – in the book devoted to „images of noble domains“ (vedutas, old maps, pictorial maps) author analyses set of questions of the context of origins of these representations of aristocratic domains, their conception, form and meaning, who ordered them and who created them and what was their role in the aristocratic self-presentation.
