A comparative analysis of records, from Czechoslovak Communist Party leadership and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs demonstrate that Czechoslovak policy towards China was completely dependent on Soviet strategy. Thus the Czechoslovak communist rejected any Chinese attempts to provide an alternative to Soviet plan to develop the international Communist movementin late 1950s and early 1960s.
