Quantities characterizing the flow are random variables and the aim is to estimate their probability distribution. The integral mean of the velocity over the domain is one of these quantities, which is numerically analyzed for a described model problem. The estimation of those quantities is realized using the standard Monte Carlo method and the multilevel Monte Carlo method. The paper also concerns the use of the mixed finite element method for the solution of the Darcy flow and efficient assembling and solving of the arising linear systems.
