Vychází z textů, které do komunikačního procesu vstoupily v posledních letech; respektuje kontinuitu stylového vývoje a současně poukazuje na některé vývojové tendence. Stylistické dění spojuje s výraznými komunikačními sférami (sféra komunikace běžné, institucionální, odborné, učební, mediální, reklamní a literární). Za určující pro styl textů v uvedených sférách považuje konstelaci těchto faktorů: funkce, typ kontaktu účastníků komunikace, interakčnost, dialogičnost, symetrická / asymetrická povaha komunikace, připravenost/nepřipravenost a mluvenost/psanost. Publikace je určena lingvistům, studentům jazykovědných oborů, profesionálním uživatelům češtiny (učitelé, překladatelé, redaktoři) či specializovaným zájemcům (žurnalisté, reklamní textaři); bohatý a diferencovaný výběr analyzovaných ukázek různých žánrů by mohl zaujmout i širší okruh čtenářů. Description in English This book intentionally continues in the long tradition of Czech (and Slovak) research on stylistics. It is not meant to be a substitute for existing syntheses, or a purely theoretical essay, or even a practical manual for the general public. Our aim is to enrich the previous research on the style of Czech texts with several new perspectives, thus contributing to deeper and more distinct knowledge of the forms of contemporary verbal communication. Our analytical point of departure thus consists primarily of texts from the past two decades, in particular those circulated very recently.
We use the differentiation between various communicative spheres as the basis for the classification from which we derive our descriptions of style. The following spheres are the object of the interpretation and analysis: (1) the sphere of everyday communication (spoken, “classic” written, electronic); (2) expert communication, with an emphasis on scholarly communication; (3) the sphere of media texts spread through the so-called mass media – written, web, audio and audiovisual; (4) advertising communication; (5) administrative communication; (6) the sphere of school communication; (7) artistic communication.
