Shrnuje výsledky 60letého archeologického výzkumu lokality a uvádí je do souvislosti s historickým bádáním o Velké Moravě.

Fortified settlement Mikulčice-Valy and Great Moravia. The publication is devoted to the European famous archaeological site of the early Middle Ages, the fortified settlement of Mikulčice. It is a factualy and visually attractive guide to the monument area, the research and findings. It summarizes the results of sixty years long archaeological excavation on the place and associates it with the historical context of the Great Moravia in the 9th century.
